PaulClean LLC ("PaulClean," "we," "us") operates paulcleanwa.com and provides mobile carpet, upholstery, rug, and mattress cleaning services throughout the Puget Sound area. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you request a booking: your full name, email address, phone number, and the service address; details of the service you're requesting; and, optionally, how you heard about us.
When you create an account: your email address (used for passwordless sign-in — we never store a password for customer accounts), your name, service address, and phone number once added to your profile, and your marketing communication preferences.
When our technician performs your service: before/after photos of the items being cleaned, and, if your service requires a signed service agreement, your name, the agreement text, your signature image, and the date and time of signing. We also record the IP address and device type used to sign, standard practice to establish that a real signature was captured on-site.
When you give text message consent: your name (optional), your phone number in standardized international format, which of the two consents you gave, the date and time, the page you gave it on, the exact disclosure text shown to you at that moment, and the IP address and browser user agent of the device used. See "SMS Communications" below.
Payment: we never see or store your card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Square, our payment processor. We only keep a record of the payment method, status, and Square's own reference IDs.
To schedule, confirm, and carry out your cleaning service; to send you booking confirmations and updates by email; to keep our own work calendar organized; to process payment through Square; to track and apply loyalty points if you have an account; to send you marketing emails or texts, but only if you've opted in; and to maintain business records, including signed service agreements, for as long as reasonably necessary for legal, warranty, and dispute purposes.
We share information with the following service providers, only as needed to run our business: Supabase, which hosts our database and stores your information securely; Square, which processes payments; Resend, which sends booking-related and transactional emails on our behalf; Google Calendar, which we use internally to keep our own work schedule; Microsoft, which provides the Clarity website-analytics service described in section 4; and Telegram, through which our team receives an internal notification when you submit a booking request, so we can respond quickly — this is for our own team, not shared further. For text messages we work with GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which sends and receives text messages on behalf of PAULCLEAN LLC; text messages sent before August 2026 were handled by our previous provider, OpenPhone. We also share a limited set of information with OpenAI, with Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and with Google, to measure how well our ads perform, as described in section 4.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes beyond the limited advertising measurement described in section 4.
Our site uses a cookie required to keep you signed in if you create an account.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, a website analytics service, to understand how visitors use our site. Clarity records how our pages are used — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the sequence of pages visited — and combines this into session replays and heatmaps that we review to find and fix confusing parts of the site. Clarity sets its own cookies for this purpose. This data is collected and processed by Microsoft in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Anything you type into a form on this site — your name, email address, phone number, and service address — is masked in your browser before anything is sent to Clarity, and is never recorded there.
Session recording runs on the public pages of this site and on your own account pages. The parts of the site our own team uses — the admin area and the technician's field app — are excluded entirely, so your service photos and any agreement you sign are never recorded there. The page you reach from an unsubscribe link in one of our emails is excluded from recording too, so it's never used to connect your email address to anything else. On your own account pages, your address, contact details, prices, and service photos are masked before anything is recorded.
If you'd rather not be included, most common ad and tracking blockers block Clarity, and browser tracking-protection settings generally do the same.
We also use the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel, so we can tell whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to request a booking. It sets two first-party cookies on this site, __obref and __oppref, used only for this purpose. It does not run on your account pages or on the parts of the site our own team uses. When you submit a booking request, we send OpenAI a limited set of information about that request: a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address (not the address itself, which OpenAI never receives), your IP address and browser type, either your ZIP code or city — whichever you gave us — the total price of the booking, and the value of the __obref and __oppref cookies above. OpenAI uses this to match the booking back to the ad that led to it and to report aggregate ad performance to us; we do not enable OpenAI's option to automatically match information you type into our forms, and the masking described earlier in this section still applies. See the OpenAI Privacy Policy. Most common ad and tracking blockers block this pixel too.
If you reach this site through one of our ads, we also store a small first-party cookie of our own (pc_attr) recording which campaign and ad the link belonged to. It holds no information about you — only our own campaign names and the advertising platform's click identifier — and if you later send a booking request, that campaign name is saved alongside it. We use this for one purpose: to check the advertising platforms' own reports against what actually happened. It is not shared with anyone.
We use the Meta pixel in the same way, so we can tell whether someone who clicked one of our Facebook or Instagram ads went on to request a booking. It sets first-party cookies on this site, _fbp and — if you arrived by clicking one of our ads — _fbc, used only for this purpose. It does not run on your account pages or on the parts of the site our own team uses. When you submit a booking request, we send Meta a limited set of information about that request: one-way cryptographic hashes of your email address and phone number (not the address or number themselves, which Meta never receives), your IP address and browser type, a hash of either your ZIP code or city — whichever you gave us — the total price of the booking, and the value of the cookies above. We keep those cookie values with your booking so that we can also tell Meta, later, when we confirmed the date and when the cleaning was completed — the same limited set of information, no new categories of data. Meta uses this to match the booking back to the ad that led to it and to report aggregate ad performance to us. See the Meta Privacy Policy. Most common ad and tracking blockers block this pixel too.
We use the Google Ads tag in the same way, so we can tell whether someone who clicked one of our Google search ads went on to request a booking. It sets first-party cookies on this site, beginning with _gcl_, used only for this purpose. It does not run on your account pages or on the parts of the site our own team uses. Because the tag talks to Google from your browser, Google receives your IP address and browser type the same way any website you visit does. When you submit a booking request, we additionally send Google one-way cryptographic hashes of your email address and phone number (not the address or number themselves, which Google never receives), the total price of the booking, and a booking reference of ours that exists so the same request cannot be counted twice. We instruct Google not to use any of this to build advertising audiences — we use it only to count and improve our ads, never to follow you around the web. If you call the phone number shown in one of our Google ads, the call is connected through a Google forwarding number, and Google tells us the call's length and general area — we do not receive a recording, and calls to the number published on this site are not routed this way. See the Google Privacy Policy. Most common ad and tracking blockers block this tag too.
Text messages from us are opt-in only. We offer two separate choices, and you may select either one, both, or neither: booking and service updates by text (confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, technician updates, and service follow-up), and occasional offers by text (special offers, discounts, and service promotions). Marketing consent is never a condition of purchase, and submitting a booking request does not by itself sign you up for any text messages.
We store the two consents separately, never as a single combined setting, so agreeing to booking updates never implies agreement to promotional messages. Your phone number is used to reach you about your booking and service, and — only if you chose that option — to send occasional offers. It is not used for anything else, and it is never sold.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by updating your choices on our text message preferences page. Reply HELP to any message for help. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
We keep a record of each consent you give — what you agreed to, when, from which page, the exact disclosure text you were shown, and the IP address and browser user agent used. Each new submission adds a new record rather than replacing the previous one, so the full history is preserved. We keep this as proof of opt-in for as long as required by the mobile carriers and applicable law. This record is stored in our database, which is hosted by Supabase. GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) may be used to deliver and receive text messages on behalf of PAULCLEAN LLC.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that support delivery of the requested messaging services.
If you have an account, you can update your marketing email/text preferences any time in your account settings, and anyone — account or not — can update their text message choices on our text message preferences page. To request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, email info@paulcleanwa.com. Note that we're required to keep signed service agreements for several years for legal and warranty reasons, so we may not be able to delete those on request.
Our services are intended for adults arranging cleaning services for their home or business. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
