Sofa Cleaning Cost in Seattle: One Price per Piece

September 13, 2026 · PaulClean, Greater Seattle

Most price guides for couch cleaning in Seattle give you a range and then tell you to call for a quote. We don't do ranges. Every piece has one price, the price covers the whole piece, and you can see it before anyone comes to your home. Here are the numbers.

What a sofa costs to clean

The price is per piece, by size. A loveseat is a loveseat whether it's white linen or dark microfiber; a three-seater is a three-seater whether it's in Ballard or Renton. These are today's prices, read from the same list the calculator uses:

  • Armchair or recliner$85
  • Loveseat (2-seater)$105
  • 3-seater sofa$155
  • 4-seater sofa$190
  • 5-seater sofa or sectional$250
  • 6-seater sectional$305

Bigger sectionals go up from there in the same steps — count the seats and the calculator shows the price. Dining chairs are priced as a set — a set of six or eight costs less per chair than chairs bought one at a time.

What the price includes

The whole piece. Seat cushions, back cushions, the arms, the back, the sides, and the throw pillows that live on it. We clean it where it stands, in your living room — nothing gets taken away, nothing comes back damp a week later.

Stains are included. Coffee, wine, pet accidents, the mystery mark — we treat every spot as part of the job, not as an add-on. You pay for a clean sofa, not for the number of problems on it.

  • Fabric check first: the fiber decides the chemistry. Wrong chemistry lifts the color out with the stain.
  • A treatment matched to each stain, then hot water extraction — what most people call steam cleaning — and a rinse so no product stays in the fabric.
  • Walk-on dry in 3–5 hours; fully dry in 12–24. Open a window and it's faster.

What changes the number

Two things, and both are switches in the calculator, not surprises on the day.

  • Pets in home — pet hair takes a separate pass before the cleaning, so the piece costs a little more and takes a little longer. Tick the box and the price updates.
  • Room is not empty — if we're working around furniture rather than with the piece pulled out, the price comes down slightly. Same box, same logic.

There is a minimum order for carpet and upholstery visits, shown in the calculator. One armchair on its own won't reach it; an armchair plus a loveseat, or a sofa plus a rug, usually does. Travel is free across King, Snohomish and Pierce counties, so a Tacoma sofa costs the same as a Seattle one.

What we don't clean

Leather — not cleaning, not restoring, not reconditioning; it needs a specialist. Silk and viscose — they shrink and bleed dye and need shop equipment. Wool we clean, with a more modest result than synthetic, and we'll tell you that up front. Cotton and linen get a gentle refresh rather than the full treatment, because chemistry strong enough to lift a stain would wreck them.
