What a Deep Clean Actually Includes, Room by Room

"Deep clean" means different things at different companies, which is why you should see the list before you book. This is ours, room by room. Everything here is in the price; the add-ons are marked.

Everywhere in the home

A deep clean is everything in a regular clean plus the details that build up between cleans. The regular part, in every room:

• Dust on reachable surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and floors; mop hard floors
• Mirrors and windowsills
• Beds made, trash taken out

And the deep part, in every room:

• Baseboards
• Doors and door frames
• Blinds
• Ceiling fans, light fixtures within reach
• Light switches
• Vent covers, outside
• Corners and hard-to-reach spots
• Heavy dust and grime build-up

Kitchen

• Kitchen counters; sink and faucet
• Stovetop, outside
• Microwave, inside and out
• Appliances, outside; cabinet fronts
• A deeper kitchen clean — the build-up a regular pass doesn't reach
• Add-on: inside the oven. Add-on: inside the refrigerator. Add-on: inside the cabinets and drawers.

Bathrooms

• Shower and tub, with the deeper shower and tub clean
• Toilet
• Bathroom sinks, mirrors
• Cabinet fronts

Bedrooms and living areas

• Dust on reachable surfaces; beds made
• Floors vacuumed and mopped
• The everywhere list — baseboards, doors and frames, switches, fans, blinds — applied to each room
• Add-on: interior windows. Add-on: a load of laundry. Add-on: a finished basement. An office or bonus room is added as a room.

Deep clean or move-out?

If the home is empty, book a move-in/out instead — it's everything above plus the oven, fridge and cabinets already included, and the closets and the spots under where the furniture was. If you live there, deep is the one.
