Sectional, Sofa or Loveseat: How We Count the Piece

Couch, sofa, settee, sectional, loveseat, chesterfield — same piece of furniture, five names. The price doesn't care what you call it. It cares how many people can sit on it.

Count the seats

Every sofa is priced by seat count, and the price covers the whole piece — seat cushions, back cushions, arms, back, sides, and the throw pillows on it. Count the places a person would sit and that's your row:

• Armchair or recliner (1 seat)$85
• Loveseat (2 seats)$105
• 3-seater sofa$155
• 4-seater sofa$190
• 5-seater sofa or sectional$250
• 6-seater sectional$305
• 7-seater sectional$350

Eight and nine seats are in the calculator too. Nothing is measured on the day and nothing moves the price except the seat count.

What counts as what

• A sectional is one piece. Count all its seats — an L with three seats on one side and two on the other is a 5-seater.
• A chaise end counts as the seats it replaces — usually one, sometimes two if it's wide enough for two people side by side.
• A sofa bed is a sofa. We clean the sofa surfaces; the mattress inside is a mattress and is priced as one if you want it done.
• A recliner is an armchair, powered or not.
• Two loveseats are two loveseats, not a 4-seater — separate pieces, separate rows.
• Dining chairs are their own thing, priced as a set.

What doesn't change it

Fabric, color, age, how dirty it is. A white linen 3-seater and a dark microfiber 3-seater cost the same; the fabric changes the chemistry we use and how much we promise about old stains, not the price. Stains are included. The only toggles are Pets in home (a hair pass first) and Room is not empty (working around the furniture, slightly cheaper).
