House Cleaning Checklist: Kitchen, Bathroom, Every Room

October 19, 2026 · PaulClean, Greater Seattle

A regular house clean follows one fixed list on every visit: counters, appliance outsides and cabinet fronts in the kitchen, shower and tub, toilet, sinks and mirrors in the bathroom, and dusting, vacuuming and mopping through the rest of the home. It's split by room below so you can see what's covered. The inside of the oven, refrigerator and cabinets and a few other jobs are add-ons you tick in the calculator, and we bring all the supplies.

Kitchen cleaning checklist

  • Kitchen counters
  • Sink and faucet
  • Stovetop, outside
  • Microwave, inside and out
  • Appliances, outside
  • Cabinet fronts
  • Vacuum carpets and floors
  • Mop hard floors
  • Trash taken out

The inside of the oven, the refrigerator and the cabinets are add-ons on a regular clean; on a Move-in/out clean they are already included. A deeper kitchen clean is part of Deep Cleaning.

Bathroom cleaning checklist

  • Shower and tub
  • Toilet
  • Bathroom sinks
  • Mirrors
  • Mop hard floors
  • Trash taken out

A deeper shower and tub clean is part of Deep Cleaning. Inside the bathroom cabinets is part of a Move-in/out clean.

Bedrooms and living areas

  • Dust on reachable surfaces
  • Vacuum carpets and floors
  • Mop hard floors
  • Mirrors
  • Windowsills
  • Beds made
  • Trash taken out

An office, den or bonus room isn't a bedroom. In the calculator it has its own counter next to bedrooms and bathrooms, and it is added as a room.

Add it when you want it

On a regular clean you can add pieces one at a time. Baseboards, doors and frames, blinds, ceiling fans and light fixtures are part of a Deep Cleaning, so they are paid add-ons only when you book a regular clean. Laundry is charged per load. Interior windows means the inside of windows we can reach, never the outside.

  • Add-on: inside the oven$20
  • Add-on: inside the refrigerator$20
  • Add-on: inside the cabinets$15
  • Add-on: interior windows$7 per window
  • Add-on: baseboards$20

If the add-ons pile up, the calculator tells you and offers the next level, which can cost the same or less than the regular clean plus everything you ticked.

Need the deep list? What a deep clean adds, room by room

Weekly or every two weeks

Repeat visits use the same regular list. A clean every two weeks has its own lower price, which the calculator shows as "If we clean every 2 weeks". For weekly or any other interval, call or text us and we set it up at the regular price. When a house cleaning is finished, the order page in your account shows "Every 2 weeks" with a "Repeat this clean" button.

Biweekly house cleaning — how the plan works

Before the cleaner arrives

  • Nothing to buy: the supplies come with us, and they are safe around kids and pets.
  • Put away anything you'd rather we didn't touch.
  • A dog can stay home, in another room.

What it costs

The price is flat, set by the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, with the add-ons you choose on top. A home larger than typical for its bedroom count adds a charge for the extra square footage, and the calculator shows all of it before you book. Nothing is added after we arrive.

  • Regular, 2 bed / 2 bath$200
  • Regular, 3 bed / 2 bath$255

Checklist questions

What should be on a house cleaning checklist?

For a regular clean: in the kitchen, counters, sink and faucet, the outside of the stovetop and appliances, the microwave inside and out, and cabinet fronts.
