Mill Creek is a small city built around a golf course between Bothell and Everett — HOA neighborhoods from the 1970s through the 90s, two floors, carpet on the upper one, a formal living room with a sofa that gets sat on less than the family-room one. We pass through it on the way to Everett and Lynnwood. Two sofas means two line items; the lightly used one is quick, the family-room one carries the work.
